Credit card settlement without the guesswork

Credit card balances can balloon with late fees and finance charges until they far exceed the original spend. If you cannot clear the dues, a negotiated settlement may reduce what you pay. Our advocates plan the order of negotiation and make sure every term is recorded in writing.

We are not a lender. We do not give loans or take over your debt. We advise and represent you.

When this may be for you

  • Late fees and interest have overtaken the original purchases
  • Minimum payments no longer reduce the balance
  • Several cards are overdue at the same time
  • Collection agencies have started calling

How we help

  1. Review card statements and charges applied
  2. Prioritise cards so your funds go furthest
  3. Negotiate a lump-sum or instalment settlement in writing
  4. Check the settlement letter for a full-and-final clause
  5. Track the No Dues Certificate and credit bureau update

Documents to keep ready

  • Last 6 to 12 months of card statements
  • Recovery or legal notices
  • Proof of income or hardship
  • ID and address proof
Never pay without a written settlement letter on the lender's letterhead. After the final payment, collect a No Dues Certificate and check that your credit report is updated. Settlement is at the lender's discretion and will be reported to credit bureaus.

Questions borrowers ask

Frequently asked questions

Is credit card settlement better than paying the minimum?

If you genuinely cannot repay, minimum payments can keep the balance growing. An advocate can compare settlement with other options for your situation.

Will my card be blocked after settlement?

Usually yes. The lender typically closes the card, and the account shows as Settled on your credit report.

Can I get a card again later?

Possibly, though it is harder at first. Timely payments on other credit help rebuild your record over time.
